A commissioned music project for the dance performance Stereocilia by Maria Mentez and part of '75 Palmoi' - a mini festival around acoustic ecology.

The performance was carried out inside Koule Aptera castle in Chania, the 17th and 18th of July 2021 to celebrate World Listening Day 2021.

Supported by the municipality of Chania, it was part of a two days international artistic gathering with music installations, contemporary dance, live music performances, workshops and listening sessions.

The performance is an ongoing dance project by Maria Mentez researching the 'utopian silence', aiming to connect the audience with our soundscape and raise awareness about the implications of noise in our society.
